There can be no doubt that for a community to thrive there has to be an ongoing sense of improvement. In every town and village there are always numerous opportunities to make things better.

It’s vitally important that real need is tackled; that’s where this Healthcheck identifies those opportunities where local action can make a real difference. Much hard work has gone into this document as it encompasses almost every facet of the town’s activities and daily life. Local consensus has been achieved in a variety of different ways so that the Healthcheck and the subsequent Action Plan are for real.
