Following the refusal at Planning Committee on the 14th June 2023, Stonewood Homes is pleased to be progressing a revised planning application for a healthcare facility, enhanced public footpath and 27 new homes for Tetbury.  The revised application will be submitted towards the end of August 2023.

To positively address the three reasons for refusal, additional information will be presented to Officers.  The proposed development layout will remain as per the original submission of 27 houses (including 11 affordable homes of which 3 will be available as ‘First Homes’).  No changes are proposed to the new healthcare building, as this is a bespoke, purpose-designed building that has already received NHS approval. The most significant change to the scheme is to the external design and appearance of the proposed houses. The revised designs are displayed below.  

The revised application will include further details of the separation and realignment of the public right of way and off site benefits, including a contribution towards street lighting, bus stops and to the Town Library.

In partnership with the Phoenix Group, Stonewood remain committed to obtaining planning consent for the new healthcare facility and the wider scheme. The proposed scheme will provide a bio-diversity net gain as per the previous application.
